Brian Calvert and his wife, Sheila, hail from Newport, on the Isle of Wight, in England and emigrated to the USA in 1969. In England, Brian was in the printing trade, but shortly after his arrival in the US he started his own locksmith business. He and Sheila are both founding members of SEBC. As the church grew, Brian always stepped in where there was need; he has taught Sunday School to high school aged children, served as trustee, deacon, treasurer, and currently serves as elder. He enjoys tinkering as a locksmith, but his real passion is to see souls saved. Brian and Sheila have three adult children and 5 grandchildren.
